SIMPLY ANGELS VETERAN OUTREACH

To provide emotional, physical and nutritional support to homebound veterans in rural areas that convenience services don't exist.

100% volunteer organization with trained volunteers that visit homebound veterans. We assist with PTSD, physical barriers that keep an individual homebound, is no way to exit front door, no ramp, etc
We also provide emotional support when a spouse or child passed away. We insure they don't feel alone during holidays.
We attempt to connect them with businesses and service groups for home repairs. We perform crisis cleaning in many homes.
We cook meals and also collect canned foods to insure they have adequate nutrition.
We assist with companion animals as funds allow.
Unlike a suicide 800 number, when our veterans feel these thoughts, we activate a team to respond immediately. We prevent suicides by being there and delivering positive reinforcement.
