This is a critical time for our returning war fighters many return to the United States after serving multiple long deployments. This time of reintegration with family members’ spouses and the general population is crucial to successful reintegration in American civilian society. During this time it may be helpful to have an activity that helps people to understand their narrative and just have a time to decompress and readjust. Through the exposure to the creative process we seek to help these families and soldiers reintegrate through educational, cultural and artistic collaborations. These networks may prove to become building blocks to create happiness and financial opportunities for the Veterans and their families. The Veterans Art Project offers fee free ceramic and bronze casting classes to Veterans, active duty, spouses and dependents.
