FAITH PLANTERS

Faith Planters Inc., has been created under the advisement and assistance of the University of Mississippi Transactional Law Clinc. In addition, Faith Planters partners with Local Nonprofits, Churches, Day Cares, Afterschool Programs, Boys and Girl Scouts and Clubs, Churches and other organizations focused on expanding the knowledge of our youth personally and professionally. Faith Planters serves as a resource for youth and young adults to obtain their personal and professional goals. We are focused on mentoring these same individuals to enhance their exposure to positive outcomes in their daily walk.

A number of Initiatives are underway serving the Lafayette and Panola Counties: Young Men and Young Lady Mentoring, Youth exposure to the community in terms of civic responsibilities. Mobile Clothes pantry serving families in need with clothing on a regular and consistent basis. Professional Development for aspiring College bound Students along with Skilled Trades such as Electrician, Painting, Plumbing and Concrete. The unity garden brings Veterans, Adults, Youth together bridging the abiltiy to share experiences and learn the techniques of gardening which can be used to assist in reducing Food Insecurity.
The initiatives which are focused will be supported by facilties to house workshops and training. In addition this facilty will serve as space for outdoor activities such as camping, Horseback Riding and Exercise. Granting exspoure to all of those who may be considered underserved is the focus of efforts at this time.
