The 850 Committee serves the veteran population of North Central West Virginia. Over 21,000 veterans reside across seven counties - Preston, Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Taylor, Wood, and surrounding areas - and our programs are designed to meet them where they are. Our first initiative is Veteran Momentum, a program promoting health, wellness, and physical activity for veterans through organized recreational sports such as our community softball team. Additional programs are planned as support and community engagement grow.
