ReH2O- Modular Water Stations

, GO UKRAINE INC

Project Summary:
The ReH2O Project is a humanitarian water access initiative launched by Go Ukraina, a U.S.-based nonprofit committed to supporting Ukraine amidst the ongoing war. The project installs clean water filtration stations in war-affected areas of Ukraine, where access to safe drinking water has been severely compromised due to the destruction of infrastructure and ongoing hostilities.

Problem Statement:
Since the full-scale invasion began, many Ukrainian communities—especially in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions—have lost access to clean and safe drinking water. Bombings, occupation, and the collapse of key systems have left thousands of families dependent on unsafe sources or costly water deliveries. This poses urgent public health risks, especially for children, the elderly, and those living in rural or hard-to-reach areas.

Solution:
ReH2O delivers and installs industrial-grade water filtration stations capable of producing up to 20,000 liters of clean drinking water daily. These stations are solar-compatible, easy to maintain, and designed for long-term use. Each installation includes:
• On-site deployment and staff training
• Filtration and reverse osmosis technology
• Connection to existing water lines (or wells when possible)
• Monthly follow-up and quality testing
Impact So Far:
Since launching in 2023, the ReH2O Project has:
• Installed 11 clean water stations in 6 communities across southern Ukraine
• Provided daily access to safe water for over 330,000 residents
• Partnered with local municipalities and the Office of the President of Ukraine
• Received support from U.S.-based funders like the Renew Democracy Initiative

Project Goals for 2025:
• Expand to 20+ new sites in frontline and liberated areas
• Provide water access for over 500,000 Ukrainians
• Partner with local NGOs, government agencies, and global donors to scale impact
