Mechanics On A Mission, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is committed to fighting transportation insecurity throughout Middle Tennessee by providing free vehicles and car repairs to single military veterans, single parents, widows, and those in desperate need of transportation. Inspired by Matthew 25:40 which emphasizes the importance of loving your neighbor, we believe access to reliable transportation is foundational for work, family, and stability. Every repaired vehicle and every giveaway represent hope, freedom, and a tangible reminder that no one is forgotten.
In just the last year, Mechanics On A Mission has accelerated at a remarkable pace, revealing both the overwhelming need and the untapped opportunity to serve. In 2025, we increased our car giveaways by 67%. We are working diligently to build scalable systems that allow our work to be duplicated in other cities and regions, while continuing to expand our reach across Middle Tennessee.
Your donation to Mechanics On A Mission will allow us to:
1. PURCHASE VEHICLES that we would then put through inspection, repair, detail, and GIVEAWAY to those in our community battling transportation insecurity.
The impact we’ve seen each time we give a car away has been greater than we ever imagined. Recipients and their family now have the freedom to provide transportation for themselves, no longer relying on others for transportation to get them to and from work, school, or the grocery store.
2. Provide VEHICLE REPAIRS for individuals/families who are unable to afford repairs on their own.
The technicians and mechanics at each auto repair center get to be part of something greater than themselves and use their gifts to make the needed repairs to help provide the life-changing gift of transportation.
