RUNNING TO HONOR
LINCOLN PARK, Michigan
The primary purpose of the organization is to keep the memory and sacrifices of our nation's Fallen Soldiers and Veterans alive so that they are not forgotten and support other Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs). The secondary purpose of the organization is to give back in charitable ways to the poor, those seeking educational opportunities and those in unfortunate situations so that the Freedom our Fallen Soldiers fought for can continue to be experienced to the fullest extent possible.
Running To Honor hosts an annual 5K walk (or run) event every year where we honor our Fallen Soldiers and Fallen Veterans keeping their memory alive. We take the proceeds from the event and distribute them to local Veterans organizations that need support, building improvements etc. Running To Honor also feeds Homeless Veterans, collects clothing donations and distributes them to Homeless Veterans and educates others in the community about Veterans issues such as PTSD, TBI and the ... 閱讀全文
