The mission of the Volusia Basket Brigade is to combat food insecurity in Volusia County by providing meals and essential resources to families, veterans, and children in need. Through our efforts, we aim to foster hope, strengthen community ties, and ensure that no one faces hunger alone.

The Volusia Basket Brigade is a grassroots initiative with a mission to feed 25,000 people. Originally focused on supporting families in need during the holidays, the Brigade has grown to provide year-round assistance to families, veterans, and children. We are committed to offering food and essential supplies to community members in their most challenging moments—no questions asked. Together, we aim to make a meaningful impact and provide a hand up to those who need it most.
