PIONEER DAR

Pioneer Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) mission is to promote education, patriotism, and historic preservation on a local, state and national platform. The DAR's goals are to: preserve the history of the men and women who fought for American independence; encourage patriotism and love of country; promote education to secure the future of America

The DAR's activities include:
Restoring and maintaining historical sites
Locating and marking Revolutionary War gravesites
Organizing memorials and commemorations
Placing monuments around the world
Awarding scholarships and financial aid to students
Supporting schools for underserved children
Supporting active duty military personnel and veteran patients
