WELCOME HOME MINISTRIES

Welcome Home Ministries is a faith-based alcohol and drug recovery support ministry, established in 1992 by Founder and Executive Director, Daryl R. Murray. Our mission is “to enter worlds of brokenness in order that all might experience wholeness in Jesus Christ.” Our alcohol and drug recovery support ministry provides a structured 24/7 sober living community with services and support for men who suffer from chronic alcohol and drug addictions. We have seven recovery residences that include a recovery home exclusively for Veterans. Many of our clients are homeless when they come to us for help; some clients suffer from co-occurring disorders (substance addictions and mental health disorders). All the men who enter our doors of compassionate care are in desperate need of hope and healing. They seek recovery from alcohol, drugs and a destructive way of life.

We provide transitional supportive housing in a structured environment that includes but is not limited to: Transportation assistance, alcohol and drug counseling, job placement assistance, case management, food stamp enrollment, assistance in regaining identification as well as other recovery support services. We provide the tools to help residents develop effective life skills, a support system for healthy recovery/sobriety, access/readiness for employment or disability income, credit resolution, and provide permanent supportive housing opportunities to graduates of our program in one of our 2 PSH properties (12 beds). Some of our clients receive Section 8, S+C, or VASH vouchers for permanent housing.
