Scara’s SECOND Surgery is Done—But We’re Struggling to Keep Up
When we rescued Scara from the euthanasia list in August 2024, we thought she just needed a safe place to land. We never imagined that seven months later, we’d be fighting so hard to give her the life she deserves.
Her first TPLO surgery, melanoma surgery were supposed to be her ticket to a pain-free future. But then, her other leg failed, and she needed another urgent surgery. We didn’t have time to raise the funds—we just had to act. We chose to save her, no matter the cost.
Scara is healing, thanks to an incredible foster who has been by her side every step of the way. But now, we are drowning in medical bills, and we can’t do this alone.
