Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency's integrated approach combines workforce development with financial empowerment services to reduce barriers to employment and financial stability for those who are unemployed and underemployed, veterans, those experiencing homelessness, and other vulnerable populations in need of assistance with connecting to the workforce system. Our programs prepare individuals for the workforce by helping to identify their career interests; develop job readiness and life skills; set attainable career goals; and ultimately obtain employment. Our services include career assessments, a job readiness training bootcamp, case management and career coaching (one-on-one career planning, life coaching, and résumé assistance), job placement assistance (job boards, weekly position listings, job fairs, and employer recruitment events), scholarships to credential-based vocational training opportunities, financial empowerment services (financial literacy workshops, one-on-one financial coaching, and savings incentives), digital upskilling, one year of job retention support (case management and workshops), and various supportive services (transportation assistance, computer access, clothing, and phone access).
