When help can’t wait, Central Texas counts on the Red Cross.
Texas is the most disaster-prone state in the nation—with fires, floods, and extreme weather impacting communities year after year. At the same time, our blood supply is increasingly fragile. The Red Cross provides nearly 40% of the nation’s blood, yet only about 2% of eligible adults donate, creating critical shortages that put lives at risk every day.
In Austin, we’re building a new Regional Headquarters to help us respond faster to disasters, collect more lifesaving blood, and support families when crisis strikes.
