Our mission is to enable all veterans to move forward in their lives after military service. The term “HAVEN” (Helping All Veterans Experience Normalcy) is our goal. We will strive to assist in finding transitional housing and shelter for homeless servicemen and women. While partnering with all veteran and housing agencies in our community, we will achieve a much-needed hand up, not a handout for our homeless veterans. We will strive to ensure all veterans receive needed support through housing, employment, and counseling, and to provide help with receiving well deserved benefits.

Fort Kennedy is a Veteran-focused 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization founded and run by Tina Kennedy, 1SG, US Army (Ret.). At our Day Center, we help Veterans connect with the benefits they earned through service to our country, in addition to providing clothing, food, hygiene items, and other essential services to unhoused and low-income Veterans living in and around Portland, Oregon.
