DO GOOD MULTNOMAH

Do Good Multnomah is a non-profit organization that partners with our community to provide permanent supportive housing and low-barrier emergency shelter to houseless Veterans in Portland, Oregon. We emphasize relationship-building, one-on-one engagement, supportive services, and direct community participation, changing the way we serve houseless Veterans.

While we are committed to providing Veterans with a safe, warm place to stay for the night, we are equally interested in forging meaningful relationships with them. These bonds allow for our staff to serve as mediators and connectors between Veterans and the variety of Veteran service organizations in Portland. Our first shelter launched on November 11th, 2015, Veterans Day. in Downtown Portland. On July 1st, 2016 we moved our shelter in partnership with Rose City Park Methodist Church in NE Portland where we accommodated 40 Veterans a night.

Now in 2021, we have programs spanning both Multnomah and Clackamas Counties with new programs in the works set to open up as 2021 progresses!
