SYSTER Project isthe empowerment program of the Moretta Community Development Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. We're proud to devote our energyadvocating for technology connectivity, diversity, equity and inclusion and the empowerment of low-income, under-served, underrepresented communities, young people and families in need.

SYSTER Projectmoves individuals from the pathway to poverty by connecting them to pathways of job training, skill and competency certifications, job placement, career advancementand entrepreneurship success.

SYSTER Projectresponds to the complex needs of underserved children, women and their families through supportive services and comprehensive community collaborations from the business, private and public sectors. Transitional - centered strategies help remove artificial and actual barriers to employability, entrepreneurship and creates pathways to self-sufficiency,economic empowerment and overall community health, wellness and well-being.

The SYSTER Project empowerment program provides interactive workshops skills training opportunities and connects participants to mentors, industry professionals from various industries including the film and media, health care, environment, education, technology and cybersecurity professions. Participants have the opportunity to learn skills necessary to succeed and improve positive career outcomes. Learning objectives include how to prepare a resume, entrepreneurship development including how to write a business plan and financial fitness workshops.
