Fault Line Theatre creates and produces socially relevant, character-driven plays for today’s audiences. By employing the best members of our artistic community, Fault Line Theatre strives both to challenge veteran theatergoers and welcome those new to the art form.

Fault Line Theatre is a collaborative group of artists dedicated to producing plays that we love. We invite our audiences to love them as much as we do. In this effort, Fault Line Theatre’s artistic leaders start the development of a new piece by choosing a central theme with a primary artist (usually a writer) to drive the process. Our goal is to devise as many original scripts with our artistic associates and a diverse group of collaborators every season as possible, all with an eye toward an eventual production. We supplement each season with scripts by both up-and-coming playwrights and veteran writers from outside the company. We choose works that uphold our mission and bring fresh perspective to issues at the front of the current social discourse.
