COLLINGS FOUNDATION INC

The American Heritage Museum, a program of Collings Foundation, Inc., seeks to engage, educate, entertain and enlighten its audiences in the history of our military and veterans through a chronologically arranged series of exhibits and educational interpretation. We do this through a focus on three themes:

- The history of the American fight for independence and the preservation of democracy through history.
- The role of the American citizen soldier in the battles fought.
- And the role of technology and innovation in the defense of these servicemen and servicewomen.

The American Heritage Museum is additionally committed to the development of educational living history events within the region to provide inspiration to our future generations and to honor all veterans.

The American Heritage Museum encompasses 67,000 square feet of accessible displays containing over 100 rare and historic vehicles, tanks, aircraft, and large artifacts covering all eras and conflicts from the Revolutionary War through the battlefields of today with a significant focus of World War II. Additionally, the museum has an additional 40,000 square feet of annex buildings that are available for viewing on select seasonal weekends and a campus of 110 acres where living history weekend events such as encampments, historic demonstrations of tanks and aircraft, vintage automobile presentations, and battle re-enactments take place from May through October.
