Our donor-supported adaptive sports & fitness programs empower DASA athletes to set all kinds of big, audacious goals and train hard to achieve them.
DASA provides 1-on1 Ability Gym training and competitive and recreation programs for individuals with physical disabilities. Programs such as; Paralympic Sport opportunity, adaptive cycling, rock-climbing, archery, swimming, boccia, golf, para-shooting, introductory wheelchair and competition wheelchair sports. Competition Programs require a Paralympic Classification to qualify. Recreation programs and Ability Gym training require a physical disability as the primary diagnosis.
DASA programs support individuals with physical disabilities such as Neuromusculoskeletal (spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy), MS, MD, OI, EDS, Stroke, amputation, loss of limb, Short Stature, Visual Impairment, and Hearing Impairment.
