Veterans like William understand the value of home in a profound way. After 4 years in the Army and continued service in the reserves, William returned to civilian life determined to provide stability for his young child. Childcare needs made work difficult, and without options, he found himself facing uncertainty no parent should face alone.
Through Of Color, Inc., William received the support needed to rebuild. His Business Service Representative helped secure housing that included an extra bedroom for a caregiver, creating space for both consistency and peace of mind. With this foundation in place, William returned to work and moved toward long-term stability.
