Brilliant Misfits is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Euclid, Ohio, dedicated to empowering poverty-stricken youth through sports and filmmaking/marketing education. Many youth in underserved communities lack access to structured extracurricular activities, mentorship, and career development opportunities. Without positive outlets, they often face higher risks of academic struggles, limited career prospects, and exposure to negative influences. Brilliant Misfits is here to change that. The organization provides opportunities for children ages 7-12 to participate in youth sports while also offering programs that teach children ages 8-18 valuable creative and entrepreneurial skills. Sports instill discipline, confidence, and the ability to overcome challenges. Essential skills that extend beyond the game. In today’s digital world, these skills open doors to career opportunities in entertainment, entrepreneurship, and beyond, ensuring our participants are prepared for the future.
Brilliant Misfits is Co-founded by a former NCAA Division 1 Basketball Athlete and a Veteran Law Enforcement Officer, Brilliant Misfits aims to inspire discipline, teamwork, and career readiness, with future plans to expand its programs and community outreach.
