At Bethany Haven, we give people the opportunity to get back on their feet; if someone is worried about where they will sleep for the night or what they will eat for the day, they are unable to look past those immediate needs. We provide shelter, food, supplies, case management, referrals, and advocacy, so our residents are able to look beyond the immediate and begin to consider how they might work for a better future for themselves and their families.
Homelessness in rural areas like Bardstown can be caused by any of a number of factors, and its effect on individuals, families and the community is severe. At Bethany Haven, we seek to provide a pathway back to permanent housing in a compassionate and respectful manner.
