Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Cities of Service: Orlando Cares

To solicit and accept funds to use to improve youth literacy and increase safety by mobilizing citizens as volunteers who make service a part of the solution. ORLANDO CARES is a partnership with the Corporation for National Community Service (CNCS). Adult volunteers are needed to enhance the education of our City’s youth and increase the cardiac save rate of our citizens. Programs within ORLANDO CARES include: Preschool Ambassadors, Third Grade Reads powered by Read2Succeed, Mayor Buddy’s Book Club, The Garden, PathFinders, and Take Heart Orlando.
