FAITH IN ACTION FOR CASS COUNTY

Faith in Action for Cass County is a community-based, volunteer, non-profit organization providing non-medical assistance to older adults, veterans, adults with disabilities, and other individuals/families experiencing difficult circumstances, including caregivers in need of support. Volunteers provide transportation, breaks for caregivers, phone reassurance, visiting, light housekeeping, chore services, critical home repairs, accessibility ramp construction, and make connections with other local resources. There are no age restrictions or income guidelines - everyone qualifies! Donations to Faith in Action for Cass County provide wages for four staff, rent and utilities, outreach, communications and program coordination, maintenance of a wheelchair accessible van and a tools trailer for repairs and ramp building, volunteer insurance and mileage reimbursement. Over half of our income comes from local individuals, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and fundraising/friendraising events.
