STATEN ISLAND DAR

The DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical woman’s volunteer service organization. Any woman eighteen years and older regardless of religion, color, or race who can trace her ancestry to a participant in the American Revolutionary War is welcome to join our membership.

Daughters around New York State are involved in their communities in a myriad of ways. From cleaning historic sites, raising funds for veteran honor flights, running book drives for community centers, you'll always find a daughter ready to support the DAR's mission areas of historic preservation, education and patriotism.
