Crockett Community Recreation Repair and Maintenance Project
来自 Crockett Community Services DistrictCrockett and surrounding communities including Rodeo, Port Costa, Pinole, and Hercules utilize the Crockett recreation facilities, including the community pool, tennis courts, and park. These facilities foster social connections and promote physical activity and mental well-being. In addition, the John Swett Unified School District utilizes these facilities for youth sports programs. To ensure the community continues to have access to these important and vital services, we must invest in repairing and maintaining the community pool, tennis courts, and park.
The community pool requires a new heater and pump for the swimming pool and is in need of a heater for the wading pool. Without the new heater and pump, we are unable to utilize this facility and the pool would be forced to close.
The tennis courts must be resurfaced in order to promote everyone's safety while using this facility. Resurfacing the courts also helps maintain the integrity of the court.
The park requires new non splinter mulch underneath the play structures to ensure children's safety, functional usage, and overall visual appeal to continue encouraging youth and families to spend time and engage with the park.
