During the holy month of Ramadan, Atra N America Humanity Corporation (AAHC) is providing essential food assistance and modest clothing support to vulnerable families across four communities in the United States and Nigeria.
Last year, AAHC supported 50 families with Ramadan assistance. This year, the need has grown dramatically we are experiencing more than triple the requests, with 600+ families already seeking support. In addition to registered families, many individuals and households arrive at our distribution sites without prior registration. Our commitment is simple: we do not want to turn anyone away during this sacred season.
For families facing financial hardship, Ramadan can bring uncertainty about how they will provide daily meals. Through this initiative, AAHC will distribute culturally appropriate food packages to support fasting households, along with basic clothing assistance so individuals and children can observe the season with dignity and confidence.
This program serves: Low-income families, Single-parent households, Seniors, Economically impacted households, Underserved immigrant and local communities

Distributions begin February 17, and early donations will allow us to purchase food in bulk, prepare additional kits for walk-up families, and expand our reach to meet the growing demand.

Program Budget Breakdown
To serve 600+ families, the estimated support needed is as follows:
Ramadan Food Assistance: Approximately $75 per family to provide essential food items for daily meals during the fasting period.
Total estimated cost: $45,000
Clothing Assistance: Approximately $25 per family to provide modest clothing support so individuals and children can observe Ramadan with dignity.
Total estimated cost: $15,000
Packaging, Transportation, and Distribution: Approximately $10 per family to cover the cost of assembling kits, local transport, and community distribution logistics.
Total estimated cost: $6,000
