Srila Prabhupada, ISKCON’s Founder-acarya, is the inspiration behind Food Distribution. He stated in 1972 that “No one within ten miles of an ISKCON temple should go hungry.” Since that time ISKCON devotees have expanded a global network of free food restaurants, mobile services and relief programs establishing daily delivery routes in many large cities around the world.
We distribute prasadam (sanctified food) 7 days a week with a special feast every Sunday evening. Anyone who walks into our temple gets a full plate of fresh nutritious vegetarian meal for free irrespective of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability.
