SEATTLE CENTER FOUNDATION

Seattle Center Foundation actively inspires broad community engagement to support and promote the evolution of Seattle Center.

A group of civic leaders, inspired by the legacy of the 1962 World’s Fair, came together in 1977 to form a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to support Seattle Center, a civic center owned and operated by the City of Seattle. Since that time, Seattle Center Foundation has brought in millions of dollars to enhance Seattle Center and its programs. Seattle Center Foundation advocates for the Seattle Center Master Plan, seeks public and private funds for capital improvements, supports free public programs such as Seattle/King County Health Clinic, Festal Cultural Festivals, and Winterfest, as well as brings together the organizations and individuals who value Seattle Center as a civic asset.
