The "3 CERT" program provides cohort candidates with comprehensive certification training, exam vouchers, resume writing assistance, mentorship, and mock interview preparation. Our certifications include CompTIA Security+, Splunk, Professional Scrum Master, and PMI Project Management Professional or CompTIA Project+. By offering resume writing assistance and mock interview preparation, we aim to ensure that our participants can effectively position themselves in today's job market. Furthermore, we facilitate connections and opportunities for our community to find positions in the IT and Cybersecurity field.
Program Outline
Certification Program
Cohort candidates will get certification preparation and training, as well as exam vouchers to earn:
1. CompTIA Security+ or Splunk Certification (Core User, Power User, Cloud, or Advance certification)
2. Professional Scrum Master
3. PMI Project Management Professional or CompTIA Project+(depending on the candidate’s eligibility)
Resume writing assistance: Enable the military community to successfully position themselves in today's job market in the IT and Cyber specializations. Our resume program aids in the creation of good resumes that get the attention of potential employers. They also translate military experience so civilian hiring managers can understand the candidate's skills.
Mentorship: Matching civilian industry mentors with each protégé to provide a long-term mentorship experience. A mentorship helps a candidate to structure their job search, get educated on the various career opportunities, and successfully transition to the civilian workforce.
