The eight (8) week academy is a mixture of classroom instruction and field work on Saturday/Sunday and hands on job training experience with the Future Fuels Reduction division on select weekdays. We provide the opportunity to earn the right certifications to be qualified to apply for entry level fire positions at the federal, state, private and seasonal municipal levels.
