SIGNATURE DIVE VETERANS INC

Signature Dive Veterans (SDV) is a nonprofit organization that serves Veterans by giving them access to the underwater world of scuba diving with its therapeutic and rehabilitative qualities for physical and emotional health. We offer facilities to prepare and educate Veterans through certification and training, opening career opportunities, and an opportunity for adventure and socializing through dive excursions and travel at little to no cost to the Veteran.

How we do it:

Participation in scuba diving has a proven track record of helping Veterans build confidence, enrich a sense of community and camaraderie, and easing the symptoms commonly associated with traumatic injuries and PTSD. Through our network of Veterans, allies, and committed volunteers, we train participants to experience the weightlessness of scuba diving with and without the assistance of an adaptive scuba buddy.
