MY HAPPY PLACE ANIMAL SANCTUARY

With compassion, respect, and love as our guiding principles, we offer rescue, rehabilitation, and refuge to innocent animals who have experienced the trauma and injustice shown them by those who believe they have the right to abuse, control, dominate, neglect, or exploit another sentient being with impunity. Through education, outreach, and community initiatives, we endeavor to shift the collective consciousness towards embracing our universal life purpose: "We are all here to help walk each other home, leaving only love and kindness in our tread."

At My Happy Place Animal Sanctuary, we believe all people and animals deserve to live their lives with dignity, respect, and love. We embrace reciprocal healing: traditional western medicine with holistic eastern medicine to help the animals heal, who in turn help the human heal, through our community programs. Our biggest medical projects to date are to rehabilitate horses with heaves, equine motor neuron, canker, keratoma surgery, EPM, and sweet itch. Our biggest community project we are undertaking is training the horses to do a horse drawn funeral service for veterans and first responders in our area.
