To Engage Veterans with Social Activities ( attend movies, sporting events, cookouts, coffee socials, etc. as long it engages with Veterans with other Veterans to attend with their families as well as by themselves), Resources for Employment and Education, Help with Food Boxes, Monthly Resource Event ( Breakfast or Cookout) . Also, to give our Veterans the info and resources for help when needed for bettering themselves.
Most veterans are too proud to ask for any help even though they may need it. Veterans will always believe that they are strong enough for anything. The actual fact is that sometimes veterans do need to reach out and ask for help.
When we Engage and build that Trust with a Veteran, he/she will more likely ask for help from someone they have built a relationship with.
