At Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, our mission is to pay tribute to all of our service men and women and their families and provide an environment for peaceful reflection.
Located in Perryville, Missouri, our campus is home to a full-sized black granite replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., known as America’s Wall. This sacred space provides healing, remembrance, and connection for Veterans, families, and communities across the nation.
Throughout the year, we host meaningful events that bring people together to reflect, remember, and give thanks, including:
• Vietnam War Veterans Day
• Memorial Day Ceremony
• Agent Orange Awareness Day
• National POW/MIA Recognition Day
• National Day of Deployment
• Wreaths Across America
• Kids Day – a family-friendly educational event that helps children understand the value of service and sacrifice
Our growing collection of static displays offers powerful opportunities for reflection and learning:
• America’s Wall – a tribute to those who gave all during the Vietnam War
• The Honor Flag Memorial – an inspiring field of flags honoring all branches of the military
• Guardians of Freedom – a sculptural tribute to courage, strength, and service
• The Huey Helicopter – our newest installation, dedicated to the iconic aircraft’s role in military and humanitarian missions
With the support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we continue to ensure that the legacy of service and sacrifice lives on for generations to come.
