VALOR & HONOR OUTDOORS

Our organization provides all-expense-paid opportunities for military members, veterans and their families to enjoy outdoor recreation including fishing, hunting, camping, shooting, archery, atv riding, black bear tours, etc... We also provide career transition support for those leaving the military and pursuing employment in the civilian sector, access to counseling, veteran support through peer-networking and one-on-one interactions. We promote military advocacy by bringing our armed forces into schools to engage and interact with students and share what their roles in the military involve. We provide opportunities for active-duty and reserve military members to be mentors for students. We also provide dogs for therapy as well as service dogs, depending on the need of the individual. We visit and support veterans in nursing homes and throughout our community, providing resources for those in need. We step in wherever we identify a need to support, and be an advocate for, our military members and their families. We have a heavy emphasis on family involvement, especially pre and post deployment. We are a 100% volunteer-operated organization.
