FORT WORTH, TexasThe WayWesX17 Homeless Project (WWX17) is a 501©3 nonprofit focused on alleviating systemic barriers, gaps in services, and inequities by meeting the immediate needs first. WWX17 believes in building self-esteem; strengthening physical, emotional and financial health; as well as, promoting and improving literacy and strategic thinking. WWX17 aspires to break generational cycles of poverty and homelessness. PRIMARY GOAL:WWX17 aspires to be the bridge that connects people to services and resources. Our goal is to address the biopsychosocial-spiritual dynamic of individuals to assist in the successful transition for permanent housing and emotional healing. As a facilitator of relationships between organizations, WWX17 endeavors to foster a network of providers that will fill the gap and initiate services. VISION: Build a network of critically thinking service providers that address systemic barriers, resources, and gaps between nonprofits.
WWX17 aspires to be part of the solution in eradicating homelessness by reintegration of this population back into the mainstream of society. WWX17 has been supporting and serving the homeless community, senior citizens, college students, pregnant moms, and members of the LGTBQI communities in the Fort Worth-Dallas, Texas area since 2015.
