Continuing the Mission improves the lives of North Carolina Veterans by providing fully trained Assistance Dogs to Veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress.

Continuing the Mission (CTM) is a nonprofit organization (501c3) that provides service dogs to Veterans living with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Our organization provides pre- and post- Veteran-service dog pairing support and engages the larger community throughout the process. Through outreach, partnering with other nonprofits, and fundraising activities, we continuously integrate our Assistance Dogs into the larger community, military and civilian, to ensure that they support individual Veterans, while messaging to the larger community the imperative for increased support for some of our most vulnerable Veterans. Our unique model promotes sustainability through a puppy pipeline that relies on support from the community to increase awareness of Veteran issues.
