Disabled, Elderly, and low-income neighbors need your help to stay in their homes!

来自 CATALYST PARTNERSHIPS

The steep rise in energy bills compels low-income households to cut spending on necessities like heating, cooling, food, and home maintenance. Despite willingness, their financial constraints prevent them from affording energy-saving upgrades, leading to persistent high bills, and potential hazards at home. In addition, financial challenges arise for low-income households due to hefty home-maintenance costs. Struggling to afford routine upkeep, they risk living in unsafe conditions, eviction (mobile homeowners), foreclosure, loss of home insurance, or even homelessness.

We have several upcoming critical projects that you can help with!

Ms. Wilson is a 79 year-old widow who lives with her 57 year-old disabled daughter. They are trying to maintain the home that her dad built in 1953. The roof has many leaks and is causing the ceilings to fail.

Mr. & Mrs. Talbert have lived in their 1930's-era single family home for 20 years. Both have significant health issues and are unable to take care of the major repairs that the house needs. The decks are in dangerous disrepair, and the blackberry bushes are overgrown above the gutters.

Ms. Davis is an 89 year-old single lady living in the home she has owned for 50-years. She is no longer able to take care of big-ticket repair items, and reached out to Catalyst for help.

Ms. Aubry is a 69 year-old woman who lives alone in the single family home she has owned for 22-years. She lives on a very limited income. Her homeowners insurance has threatened to cancel her insurance if she doesn't get a new roof by spring 2025.
