HEARTS THERAPEUTIC EQUESTRIAN CENTER

Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center employs equine-assisted services to inspire, strengthen, and motivate people of all ages and capabilities.

Since 1985, Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center (Hearts) has provided equine-assisted services to children and adults with special needs in Santa Barbara County. With a staff of 2 full-time and eight part-time employees, a herd of 16 specially-trained therapy horses, and a dedicated corps of 60 volunteers, Hearts offers year-round programming to 40 participants each week. Since its inception, Hearts has helped thousands of children and adults in Santa Barbara County achieve significant positive change in their lives.
