KATY CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Social Service Agency in the Katy/West Houston Area. We are humbled with the opportunity to assist with the rising needs through our various programs. The mission of Katy Christian Ministries is “Transforming lives through God's grace and the generosity of the community”. Through contextualized assessments, interventions, provisions of resources and life-long learning kills, KCM aims to enhance self-sufficiency in individuals, increase their self-worth, and assist in the healing process of traumatized children and adults.

KCM Direct Service Programs such as the Social Services Programs such as the Social Services Office in Katy, offer immediate financial assistance to families in economic hardship. The Food Pantry provides food assistance to families in need up to two times per month. The Crisis Center is a safe place where victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse receive assistance through advocacy, peer counseling and support. In 2020, the Crisis Center assisted 2,396 victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse. The Resale Store has a wide selection of donated goods by the community. The money received from the sales to provide free services from KCM to an abused individual, an out of work household member or a family struggling to help pay their electric bill. KCM issues vouchers to clients, which are redeemable for goods at our store, free of charge.
