One of the neighborhoods is the Lee Crossley Veterans Community. There are 13 buildings divided into duplexes. Our community center has a laundry room, large tables for community meals. Our recently started critical repair program has completed 30 repairs and 4 rehabs. The focus of our repair program is to improve the lives of the residents. We improve their lives by making their homes healthy, safe and accessible. Our critical repair program consists of two separate programs. The original program is "Veteran Home Repair". We added the "Rural Critical Home Repair" program in 2019. The new program serves the very low to moderate income families in the rural areas of our service area. Both programs can serve veterans. The program has added other populations for services.
