Help Me Help You operates 11 distinct food pantries operating throughout the city of Long Beach. We are the only agency operating 7 food pantries on the site of Long Beach Unified School District Schools.
In addition to our pantry services, we also provide home delivery of groceries to seniors and disabled individuals who are unable to make it out to our food pantries. We are expanding services to include more clients. Your support would help ensure we have an ample supply of healthy fresh and nutritious food for these clients. We pack groceries according to client's preference and/or medical needs.
The other day we received an inquiry on our website from an 81-year-old gentleman who lives along. He stated that he is unable to get out and he does not have any assistance buying groceries. He also said that he has lost a lot of weight due to a lack of food. We immediately phone him back and added him to our delivery schedule that day. There are so many seniors who live alone.
