Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival, the City of Clearwater, Visit St. Pete Clearwater, Ocean Allies, and Amplify Clearwater are joining forces for an Earth Day cleanup at Clearwater Beach! Join us at sunset to celebrate our beautiful planet and protect the beaches that residents and visitors enjoy year-round. Bring your friends and family along and help us leave nothing but our footprints. The first 150 volunteers will receive an eco-friendly gift. Stick around after the cleanup for live entertainment from The Black Honkeys starting at 7:30 p.m.
Please note: expect EXTREMELY long traffic delays/very limited parking due to the Sugar Sand Festival. Carpooling and alternative transportation methods are recommended. WHERE TO MEET: Pier 60 (1 Causeway Blvd, Clearwater Beach, FL). Check-in for the cleanup will be located on the beach next to the Recycling Art Installation. Look for the Keep Pinellas Beautiful table and tent!
TIME: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, sun protection and weather appropriate clothing.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle.
PARKING: Street Parking can be found both north and south of the roundabout. There are two public parking garages located near the venue on Coronado (Hyatt Regency) and one public parking garage located on the North beach in the Pelican Walk Plaza.
