We provide over 8,000 meals monthly to neighborhood unhoused, working poor, homebound seniors and families, Our " Manna Wheels" program provides 100 homebound seniors and veterans with a hot healthy lunch 3 times each week.
Our client choice pantry allows clients to shop for themselves and their families with dignity and respect. Local food drives from churches, schools, and other civic organizations support the pantry.
This shopping experience also allows our volunteers to conduct a "wellness" check especially focused on our unhoused clients. The majority of our clients (53%) are women over 50 who are raising their grandchildren on an SSI income.
Our unhoused clients receive hygiene kits and snack bags every 14 days. An estimated 22% of our clients are unhoused.
