That’s nearly 800,000 lives lost every year. Mothers. Fathers. Sons. Daughters. Friends.

Not because they wanted to die.
But because in their darkest moment, they felt alone and didn’t reach out.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

We believe suicide is preventable. And we are building the infrastructure to prove it.

Our Mission

Promise2Live saves lives by moving people from awareness to action. We help individuals make a personal promise to reach out for help in moments of darkness, connect them to trusted tools and resources, and build real community through human connection online and in person.

We don’t just raise awareness.
We create safeguards before crisis hits.

Why This Matters

Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death globally. For every suicide death, there are dozens more attempts — meaning there are countless opportunities for intervention when people are equipped and connected.

Loneliness and isolation are now considered major public health risks. In a digitally saturated world, people are more connected online and more isolated emotionally.

The need is urgent.
But so is the opportunity to change the outcome.

• 100,000+ Pocket Hugs Distributed
Tangible reminders of hope placed in pockets across schools, hospitals, businesses, and faith communities. Each one sparks a conversation. Each one reinforces the Promise.

• Unplug & Hug – Every 10th of Every Month
On the 10th of every month, we partner with schools, businesses, churches, and families to disconnect from devices for at least 10 minutes and reconnect face to face. Participants tell someone they matter and invite them to make the Promise to reach out for help. One day. Ten minutes. Millions of conversations.

• Free 24/7 Help & Bridge Support
We are expanding our website to close the gap between crisis and care by offering:
– AI-powered health and wellness support
– Self-guided therapy tools
– All vetted mental health resources centralized in one place
– 24/7 telehealth access for families at a minimal cost of $20 per month for up to seven family members, with unlimited mental health support

Help only works if people can access it. We remove barriers.

Equipping executives, educators, parents, and community leaders with practical suicide prevention tools including QPR and ASK training.

• Annual Global Livestream & Gala
Scaling toward 10 million viewers, delivering hope, education, and trusted resources on a national stage.

• Safe Tech Initiative
Addressing digital mental health and online safety in schools, colleges, and corporations.

• 1 Million Hugs for Hope Campaign
A bold initiative to distribute one million life affirming messages of connection and encouragement.

• 25 Global Chapters in Development
Expanding Promise2Live into communities worldwide to localize prevention efforts.
