LAKE COUNTY HONOR FLIGHT

Mission: Lake County Honor Flight celebrates America's veterans with a multi-day trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.

Lake County Honor Flight is based in the City of North Chicago, a proud military host community as home to Great Lakes Naval Station.
The Lake County Honor Flight trip is FREE for the veteran! Travel, meals, and other trip-related items are provided to the veteran at no cost. Each veteran is accompanied by a volunteer Guardian, who will assist them during the trip. Each Guardian is trained and is responsible for their care and comfort throughout the 2 or 3 day trip.
