Salute Colorado is the DBA for Green Deck Inc. Salute Colorado is the umbrella under which we offer our three programs to transitioning Veterans: Valor Bridge, Valor Journey and Valor Connect.
Salute Colorado's Mission is to support Veterans in their transition from military service through a continuous program of education, mentorship and fostering community. We empower military leaders to emerge as business and community leaders.
Veterans face challenges finding employment, translating military skills to civilian job qualifications, and navigating job search processes like resumes and interviews. Adjusting to civilian culture involves adapting to a less structured environment and shifting from command-based to collaborative work settings.
Our programs are targeted to provide each Veteran with individualized support before, during and after program participation. The deep connections made between professionals, Veterans and supporters encourage alumni to stay engaged and pay it forward to those coming up behind them. These programs are provided at no cost to Colorado Veterans.
Our programs are:
Valor Bridge - A 10-week in person program designed to build transition skills and learn to navigate the private sector job search.
Valor Journey - A two-year professional development program with 1:1mentoring from executive-level professionals.
Valor Connect - An ongoing program of educational and networking events fostering a long-term sense of community between Veterans and their supporters.
Veterans truly are a national asset, and at Salute Colorado, we recognize their value as leaders in the civilian workforce and the communities where they live. We combine a local network of supporters and resources with an intentional curriculum, professional networking and dedicated mentoring to ensure that no Colorado Veteran is underemployed.
