Breakin Bread Community Kitchen is committed to providing hot nutritious meals free of charge to anyone who is hungry and in need in Cleburne County. It will partner with churches, businesses, and individuals to carry out this mission.

Breakin Bread Community Kitchen is open every weekend of the year and serves hot nutritious meals free of charge to anyone who comes to the location on 714 Scott St in Heber Springs. It is currently operating in its 11 th year. It chose to operate on weekends because there are other non profits offering meals through the week but none Friday nite, Saturday or Sunday. The cook team prepares the meals and the serve team works like a restaurant style taking drink orders and serving the plates. This is to allow the patrons to retain their dignity and not appear to in a soup kitchen. There are no questions asked or money charged. There is a donation box at the door if the patrons wish to make a donation to the operation.
