I made an offer to send him protective skincare products. He declined stating, “I am uncomfortable receiving something from you knowing not everyone will receive a mail call.” This was the defining moment that changed the trajectory of my life—and ultimately led to the creation of A Soldier’s Hands.
We ensure everyone within the unit we adopt, receives a mail call. It just may the only one they receive. A Soldier's Hands has partnered with Badger Balm, a private family-owned and family-run business in Gilsum, NH. Each gift contains a hand balm, a sunscreen , a lip balm with spf, a handwritten note, a star from a retired American flag and candy. During certain times of the year, candy bags and girl scout cookies are shipped as well.
